They say they created borders, to divide the land..

To make it secure..

Ironic, they ended up dividing the people..

Making love obscure..

    1. Maybe. But sometimes I feel if there were no borders at least people won’t hate each other just because of the colour of their passport. Why create a reason to hate? It’s all foe the game of power and control. Divide and rule as they used to say!

  1. Your words are powerful indeed! But sometimes, may be, the border’s just in our mind and not some concrete tangible brick wall? More power to your pen, Hiraa. Absolutely love your writing. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

    1. That’s absolutely true… I’m trying to portray a vision, an idea here.. what if, borders didn’t exist… Loving each other would have been easier for people.. When I travel I find people hating eachother sometimes just because of their passport colors….
Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement. You made my day! πŸ˜‡ More power and best wishes to you too❀️

  2. Yet naively portrayed, this concept, this vision, this idea.
For far too long others have wanted to be in power, to dominate the lands. Thousands of years we’re talking now. Not this century, or since your birth. The borders represent nationalism, and limit its inhabitants to the resources they possess. It turns into commerce as they must learn to trade with other bordered and encapsulated nationalists.
First, you must therefore eliminate those seeking power and wealth, and I don’t see that happening any time soon, wonderful woman. So we have endured the forming of the western civilization, from the Greeks, to the Romans, to the Europeans and United Kingdoms. Even unto the Americas.
However, the saddest part of it all to me is slavery, and indentured servitude. Therefore I rejoice that you have the time, energy, and passion to produce both lyrical and inspirational Rhetoric for others who feel a bit penned up by the borders we are hard pressed to escape from.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, it’s very insightful and it feels as though you stated all that I felt about this idea of borders. 😊 True that we cannot eliminate these factors and the never ending lust for power, but I wish at least people would understand that these borders aren’t supposed to divide us. It hurts me to the bones when I meet people and they hate a foreigner just because they live on the other side of border… This shouldn’t be a reason to discriminate.. If only we would let the idea of a border, just be an arbitrary line…
